Formatting Win95 vfat or DOS partition from Linux
Hi,
for something that I am doing, I need^H^H^H^Hwant to be able to boot linux
on a PC from a floppy, partition a disk, format the first partition as DOS
or VFAT, then copy down a compressed copy of the file system to the partition.
Are there any tools under Linux that will format a partition as VFAT or DOS?
I guess that I could simply dd the partition up under Linux and compress
it, but that means I don't have the flexibility to resize the file system.
Regards
