Hi people

A very frustrating error message whilst attempting to install gnome
rpms.

"Failed dependencies imlim=1.8 is needed by imlib-cfgeditor-1.8-5"

However, I have installed it off of the 5.2 cd..........mmmm

I aso tryed "rpm -i -v --force imlib-cfgeditor-1.8-5".

So obviously it is installed but it cannot be found during installation

Can anyone help me here?


Also another error, whilst trying to install x11amp,
does any one know where to get these libraries?
I've looked at freshmeat & mirror arrnet



[root@alex /usr/home/alex/x11]# rpm -i -v x11amp-0.9-beta1-1.i386.rpm
failed dependencies:
        gtk+ >= 1.2.0 is needed by x11amp-0.9-beta1-1

        libgtk-1.2.so.0 is needed by x11amp-0.9-beta1-1
        libaudiofile.so.0 is needed by x11amp-0.9-beta1-1
