half of USA gone
Not that this is linux specific, but for the last hour
or so, half of the USA seems to have ben off the net.
Does anyone have news on this?
More generally, is there s site in Australia where you can
get info on this kind of thing?
It's a good thing we still have root servers here.
But `whois' doesn't seem to work at all.
French Polynesia and Argentina seem to be gone, but
Rhode Island is still there, and so is the UAE.
Cheers,
ak.
PS. What we need is a web page somewhere in SA or
elsewhere in Australia which has urgent news releases
(e.g. using the slashdot Perl softare), so that we
have somewhere to go to get this kind of info.
