Cron daemon logs

Hi. I keep getting this messages on my root account. I don't know what
causes them, but they are extremely annoying:

On an hourly basis:

Date: Fri, 12 Feb 1999 17:01:00 GMT
From: Cron Daemon <root@tralala.com>
To: root@tralala.com
Subject: Cron <root@tralala> run-parts /etc/cron.hourly

Couldnt get a file descriptor referring to the console
stty: standard input: Invalid argument

On a daily basis:

Subject: Cron <root@tralala> run-parts /etc/cron.daily

Couldnt get a file descriptor referring to the console
stty: standard input: Invalid argument

And, for a change, on a weekly basis:

Subject: Cron <root@tralala> run-parts /etc/cron.weekly

Read file error: ./slogin.1 No such file or directory

This is a Red Hat 5.1 system.

I have modified some things, but can't recall touching the cron
configuration.

Any diagnosis/solutions are welcome.

Thank you

Joćo Campos

P.S.: Are there any ideas regarding the talk problem I posted before???
