kppp & pppd problem

<SMALLER>I can't login with kppp to txc. I have removed the lock from
pppd options file and .ppprc but each time I login I get a message
that "this mode can't be used with this label" before I get
disconnected. I am using the terminal login and get just past the
password before getting the message.
