installing postgres rpm's from RH5.1 CD
Hi all
I removed the PostgreSQL package from my RH5.1 installation to try
MySQL out. I have removed MySQL and tried to re-install PostgreSQL
RPMs from the CD's.
It doesn't seem to start up properly now, however. Running psql or
pgaccess says that postmaster is not running on port 5432.
What tweaks to initialisation scripts are required to get the daemon
to start up when the system starts?
TIA
Michael Foord
