Linux reliability

Thought some might be interested - one of my servers (Bart)
just notified me of his 1 year of uptime.

He provides intranet, and samba (file & printer) services and internet
connectivity to 15 windows boxes in my city office, and dial
in/out connections through 3 modems

The outage 1 year ago was due to power being cut to the building for
10 hours for maintenance. Alas linux still needs juice! Prior to that
he had continuously been up over six months. He popped up automatically
when power was restored.

In a previous life as a win95 box (he still has the partition) he rarely
stayed up a full day.

Viva Linux!
