Bus Error - Netscape, SO5 need outbox, mouse freezes.

Thanks to everyone who replied to my last problem regarding my sound
card. I will either try d/loading redhat or configuring sound as a
module.

Here are some problems which are really getting under my skin:

Bus Error - netscape 4.5.
I have a strange one. My netscape browser works fine however when I try
to run mail or preferences -> copies and folders, Netscape suddenly
quits and returns "bus error" in my xterm.

SO need outfox.
I have checked the docks and help files and nothing seems to be of any
use. When I try to send an email (from star office) I get a message that
says I must have an Outfox. I have tried creating an Outfox in my SO
desktop and also in my home directory, nothing seems to work.

Mouse freezes.
This occurs when  I switch from Windows using Ctrl + Alt 1,2... etc. and
switch back again. It also happens when I use Quake2 (my mouse does not
even work in Quake2).

Window manager: KDE, fvwm95
Windows version: X11R6
Mouse: Microsoft two button standard serial mouse.
