Subject: What does this error message mean??
>Hi,
>I had cause to reinstall RHL 5.1 and now my BJC600 printer won't print,

<blah,blah,blah>
taken from the redhat 5.1 manual, doc 122.html:

E.11.2 I have a Canon BJC printer and it isn't printing properly.
If you have a Canon BJC printer and it is not working with 5.0, you may want
to try editing /var/spool/lpd/lp/postscript.cfg. Commenting out the line:
COLOR=-dBitsPerPixel=1
has been effective for some users with Canon BJC printers.

i have a bjc4000, with the same driver, and had the same problem. this made
mine work.
hope it helps.

Don't try to be a great OS, just be an OS, and let Microsoft topple on its
own.
