I presume you know/understand what RFC's are?  I would be very surprised
if there isn't at least a partial mirror somewhere on your campus (and
1855 is an old rfc).  Regardless you should find a full archive on
mirror.aarnet.edu.au, and ftp.sage-au.org.au.  

Anyway it's always rewarding having a browse through the RFC's.  They form
a major part of the net's cultural heritage, consisting of history,
poetry, humour, and of course technical standards.
