That is odd - I have a 4Meg S3 card and it works just fine :-) I never
had any trouble with it until I installed the staroffice and that
crashed the X-Server.
If you are using netscape, what exactly is the problem? I noticed that
when using MetroX, the system (Netscape) would garble the fonts on the
screen. It only really ever happened with Netsape, and is something to
do with an (any) application trying to set its window background as a
xpm file or something like that.
The solution to that for me was to switch to XFree86 S3 and now, all
works great :-)
