Adaptec SlimSCSI should work well, APA-1460. I have one.
I havent' tried it on Linux yet, but it is on the compatability list.
If you ask me **really** nicely you could lend it for a short-time if
you can convince me you'll look after it. (Not trying to be nasty:- get
a quote for one & you'll understand why I say this).
