Glint problems

Hi,
I'm currently running RedHat 5.1 and am relatively new to linux,
particularly redhat (Used to run Slackware). I am having trouble with
GLINT. when I enter the path to the RPM's and then click on Available it

starts reading from the CD and does so for a while, but sometimes the
status bar just stops dead. I'm not sure why it does this. when I run
glint from a terminal window it says this after the status bar stops:

read failed: Invalid argument (22)
Exception in Tkinter callback
Traceback (innermost last):
  File "/var/tmp/python-root/usr/lib/python1.5/lib-tk/Tkinter.py", line
752, in __call__
    return apply(self.func, args)
  File "./glint.py", line 62, in available
    availablePackageSet = PackagePathSet(currentPackagePath)
  File "./packageset.py", line 157, in __init__
    self.setPath(path)
  File "./packageset.py", line 147, in setPath
    package = AvailablePackage(file)
  File "./package.py", line 242, in __init__
    if (not result):
NameError: result

needless to say, being new to linux, I'm not entirely sure what this
error message means =]
I am running Glint v2.6.1
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks,
Nick
