There are plenty of internet sites with this information, or the back
section of the dick (head) smith catalog has it. Problem is, it's not
just a cable ... sound card MIDI ports are actually logic level, and need
a buffer and optocoupler to drive real MIDI devices.
The excuse for the high prices is the circuitry involved, but it's only 2
chips - not enough to justify the prices charged !
The pins are: 1,8,9: +5V
4,5: Ground
12: MIDI Output
15: MIDI Input
