samba question

smbmount //chopper/www /mnt/export/ -c airport

I have two rh5.1 machines which I wont to mount a shared device on, the
above commands works on one but not on the other, giving this error....

>mount error: Invalid argument

call me insane, but performing the same thing on virtualy identical
machines (different ip etc) shouldnt produce two different results.
