MIDI cable for 15-pin sound blaster interface
Esteemed linux persons:
Having just built and installed the "sound" module on my
PC (kernel 2.0.18) and built and installed the "playmidi"
software etc., I'm now wondering how I can get a cable
to connect the back of the sound blaster clone (Vibra16?)
to a midi cable and synths etc.
All of the software works beautifully (much to my astonishment).
But I once tried to get a cable for the 15-pin midi+joystick
port (female) and was told in a shop some outrageous price.
Question:
Does anyone out there know where I can get a cheap
new cable for this 15-ping MIDI interface?
If I can't get that, then can someone tell me where
to find the pin assignments?
Cheers,
Alan Kennington.
