It looks like you are trying to mount an extended partition, instead
of the logical drives which it contains. Under linux, physical
partitions (both primary and secondary) take the first 4 numbers of
your hard drive entry.. eg, hda1, hda2, hda3, hda4 if you were looking
at the first drive in the system.

Any logical drives within the extended partition(s??) on a drive are
represented by numbers starting with 5. For example hda5, hda6.. and
so on, on the first hard drive in the system.

To mount any logical drives in the secondary/extended physical
partition, you must refer to the drive with the number being greater
than 4, as in the example above.

In your specific example, the first dos partition would be hda1, and
the second and third dos partitions would be hda5 and hda6 respectively.
The physical extended partition on the dos drive would be hda2, but
you cannot mount this, as you must mount the logical drives within it.
