RE: wierd permission denied thing
Andreja,
In changing permissions have you removed the execute bit from a
directory? Read and execute are minimal usually for a directory.

Subject: wierd permission denied thing
Hi,
I was just stuffing around with my computer, and decided to install
Apache.
Anyway, I made a few public_html directories in my users directories
and
make a index.html file. One of my user's pages (username zivkovic)
works
fine. on the same computer, with the username bilisili, I get a
permission
denied.
I have checked all the file and even directory permissions and I
can't
figure out why I get a access denied. I don't know much about Apache
config,
but I couldn't see anything wrong. Since one user works properly and
one
doesn't I find it even wierder. perhaps it doesn't like my nickname?
:P
The computer isn't connected to the internet and it really isn't
important
to get working, but i found this strange.
Any ideas how to fix it?
thanks,
Andy
