"It depends." :).  The 1:2 rule is only a rule of thumb, but if you've
got 128MB of RAM, then it's probably because you're going to be
running some really big stuff and the extra 256MB of swap might just
come in handy.  OTOH, I believe that the 1:2 rule came about from way
back when total memory available was the size of swap, and not
total=physical+swap like it is with Linux.  So perhaps using the same
rule of thumb for Linux, it should be 1:1.
