lynx and proxies

hi guys 'n' gals
this is probably something really silly to ask, (the dumbest queestion
is the unasked one
right) but does anyone know how to set proxies for lynx, my ISM uses a
proxy server and 
I haven't been able to find anything in thee documentation about it.  If
anyon can help 
me out it would be much appreciated.
