Hi

I got my named running thanx all for your help. (I was also missing the
named.boot file)

Now how do I get named to first try the hosts file then resolve from the name
server ?

I thought it was done in /etc/hosts.conf with the line

order hosts bind

but that didn't work.

Is it somehow done in the resolv.conf file ?

Also my pop deamon doesn't work. The log says /usr/sbin/ipop3d file not
found. and it isn't there.

I looked throught the list of packages in the upgrade path thinking I missed
it. But it is not to be found ?

Thanx again

	Peter Mc

(I'm learning a lot today :)
