Kernel upgrading.
Thanks for the talks at the last meeting, most informative. Got a couple
of questions I've since thought about:
I am currently running 2.0.18, with no problems. Is there any particular
reason I should upgrade my kernel?
(One I have found is that to run the recent versions of dosemu, you need a
newer kernel)
Secondly, I run Redhat 4.0. Is it more feasible to download all the
patches to upgrade my kernel, or to download the newest rpm kernel file. I
don't have 'live' access to the net often. Will I screw up the rpm
database for my kernel if I patch it this way?
Which rpm's do I need if I do go the whole hog?
